Mollie Leivars is a writer/director based in Leicestershire. Mollie began working in the industry when she was 12, initially as an actor. 

Combining a love for writing and a passion for amplifying others' voices and perspectives, Mollie decided to move behind the scenes and made her first short film when she was 15. 

Since then, her short films have been used across schools and colleges as an educational resource in partnership with local police forces and have been screened at film festivals across the world. She's won awards for her scripts and has been awarded for her mentoring work with young people.
