Louise is an award-winning actress and BAFTA Connect film producer, who made her mark with the internationally acclaimed short film, “How to be Human.” Featuring an ensemble of esteemed BAFTA and Tony award winners, the film garnered widespread recognition, multiple awards and prestigious selections at BAFTA and Academy Award-qualifying festivals including Encounters, Raindance, Sci-Fi London, and Sitges. Following this success, Louise attracted private funding to bring her feature film projects to life through her co-founded production company, Slowcooked Productions. Guided by an unwavering commitment to story and performance, Louise stands on the verge of an exciting new chapter in her journey as Slowcooked produces its first feature film.
Through an appreciation for the opportunities and mentorship that she has received throughout her career, Louise enjoys paying it forward and sharing her ongoing experience and industry insights with postgraduate students on the Writing for Performance (MSt) course at Cambridge University and up-and-coming filmmakers on the Raindance Masters DegreeProgramme; always with the aim of developing their creative confidence to help them achieve their filmmaking and storytelling goals.
