Her career started in journalism and developed into documentary making, specialising in cinematography via completing an MA in Cinematography at Goldsmiths university. Alina has shot a variety of short fiction films, music videos, online content, and developed and shot documentary projects across the UK and in Norway.

She has worked on documentaries for Universal, Channel 4, ARD Germany and several independent productions. Alina has been part of the BAFTA Connect network since 2021. She is passionate about real human stories and representation, focusing on female-led and queer narratives. Being a former professional dancer, Alina thinks a lot about fluidity and poetry in her work, while focusing on the people in front of the lens.
