Mark A. Pritchard is a Writer and Film Director from Oxford, UK. Mark directed films for the Energy Industry across 12 countries and 5 continents. With a remit to shoot economically with 'everything you can carry in the helicopter' Mark built a reputation for delivering extraordinary narrative in extreme conditions. He is currently developing multiple projects with ANIMA.
Mark is probably best known as the author of the novel 'Billy Christmas', released in 2012 in the USA by Alan Squire Publishing. In 2017 Mark won a script call with GROUND RULES for the Reframed Collective, from a field of over 500 submitted entries, through the BBC Writer's Room and went on to develop and direct the web series.
Partnering with Audiomotion Studios, Mark helped develop early virtual set technology for his original science fiction feature, DEOS NOVOS. More recently he wrote and directed LIMITED EDITION, as one of the UK chapters of SINPHONY for Screen Anthology, who hold the first look option on this title. Dark Sky Films released SINPHONY in October 2022. Mark's writing continues to generate with awards in 2024 from festivals in Berlin, America and the UK for his WW2 horror, BETTY AND THE BLITZ, as he continues to develop original, genre films for the big screen.
